Reiki is taught in three Degrees. One need not obtain all three degrees to practice Reiki. Each level of Attunement increases the energy flow and the abilities of the Reiki Practitioner.

First Degree: teaches the fundamentals of the Usui/Tibetan system. The attunement is given by a Reiki Master. First Degree Practitioners will be able to channel Reiki immediately upon completion, for themselves as well as others simply by calling in the Reiki energy.

Second Degree: builds upon the First Degree attunement and practice. It focuses on teaching three of the Sacred symbols. The Second Degree attunement introduces a stronger more focused energy. When combined with the Sacred symbols, the Reiki will amplify your own channeled energy and make it possible to send Reiki long distance, through time and space.

Master Degree: attunes the Second Degree practitioner to the Master empowerment level and teaches the Master symbol. With this attunement to Master level, one may advance to Master Teacher, learning the techniques of attunement, so one may teach others. With each new attunement the energy is amplified and the energy flow is stronger. This level of training can be a life long commitment to sharing with others the healing art of Reiki.

Reiki has been known to have a profound effect on individuals who become attuned to it. It acts on one’s physical and energy bodies, allowing openness to the spiritual nature of the universe and oneself.
